The most common use of pine tar ointment is as a skin care product. Specifically, it has been most used to treat and prevent skin disorders such as eczema, scabies, acne and more. How to Use

Apply to clean, dry skin as needed.
Massage gently into rough areas.
For external use only. Do not apply to open wounds.

To remove a wood or glass splinter: apply liberally to the affected area. Repeat several times daily and within a few days, the splinter will come to a head and fall out.

For dry skin: apply directly to the skin and rub until absorbed. For increased benefits, apply after a warm bath or shower. Do not use on open wounds.
